The same holds true for those who hear or read poetry. If you ask someone why they fall in love with poetry, your response will likely be different than if you ask them why they fall in love with words. When we fall in love with words we become blind to how the poet actually said those words and forgot that poetry is not simply beautiful words strung together; it’s beautiful ideas strung together.
A poet uses beautiful words to describe beautiful ideas and that makes his words beautiful and poetic.
